I have been a resident of the Barrie-Area for almost 30 years. There were a few years in that span that were spent away at university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree and Bachelor of Eduction degree at universities (Western and Nipissing), but Barrie has always been my home base. I also grew up with family living in the Wasaga and Midland areas, and I worked for many years in Alliston. So it is fair to say, I have consistently been all over Simcoe County for decades :)

My family and I reside in the northern outskirts of Barrie now, in the community of Midhurst. We all love the region more than ever! My wife and I have two young boys that we not only register for many activities in town, but we also enjoy going out as a family to explore what Simcoe County has to offer. Because we personally enjoy the area so much, I get excited about sharing my knowledge of the area with others. On a personal level, my interests revolve around hockey, golf, fitness, general sport activities, exploring Simcoe County, and beyond!
